Charles Arthur Denton was the son of George and Annie Denton, of 19 Denmark Road, Rushden, and the husband of Annie Denton, of 91 Irchester Road.
He died on 2nd March 1944, aged 33 years, and commemorated on Brookwood Memorial, Surrey, UK:
Panel 16. Column 2.
He was working at Messrs John White's factory in Newton Road when he enlisted and served in the Mediterranean and North Africa.
Before the war he was a keen airgun shooter connected with the Athletic Club.
Besides his wife, he left an 11-year-old daughter.
